Robin Lopez – Orlando Magic
Building off the idea of adding another big man who can aid in rebounding and experience, Robin Lopez may not be a bad option for the Denver Nuggets.
Lopez signed a one-year, $5 million deal with the Orlando Magic ahead of this season, but Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr. have held things down in the Magic’s frontcourt this season, leaving little playing time for Robin Lopez.
It is likely that the Magic could just keep Lopez around until the end of the season, but if the veteran wants to be on the move, they could opt to work on a buyout with him within the next few weeks.
For his career, Robin Lopez has averaged 8.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and has shot 53.7% from the floor. Nikola Jokic is not going to be able to play all 48 minutes down the stretch-run of the season and fatigue could be a big concern for him entering the playoffs, as the Nuggets’ MVP has averaged 33.4 minutes per game since the start of 2022.

Robin Lopez can finish in the paint and is another big body that they can rely on for rebounding on both ends of the floor, which is why he could fit in with the Nuggets.
