2. Warriors Land A Big Man
After a two-season hiatus, the Golden State Warriors are back to being contenders in the NBA. They will be very active on the buyout market as they didn’t make a move ahead of the trade deadline.
The two biggest additions Golden State will make is that they got Klay Thompson back in the lineup and James Wiseman isn’t too far away from returning either. They didn’t need to make a big trade, but it would make sense if they added more depth in the coming weeks on the buyout market.
The one position they could look to make an addition to is the center spot. Kevon Looney is holding things down right now as the team waits for Wiseman to return. However, there is no guarantee that Wiseman is ready to contribute to a team looking to win now.
If that is the case, they could use some more depth, especially with Draymond Green banged up. There isn’t another player on the roster listed as a center other than Looney and Wiseman, as the Warriors get by with smaller lineups when they mix their bench in.

Adding some size is imperative, especially if Wiseman isn’t helping. Someone like Robin Lopez, should the Orlando Magic cut him loose, would be an excellent addition to their depth chart. If they are looking to diversify the skill set at the position, they can hope that Muscala or Paul Millsap get bought out as they can bring some 3-point shooting to the frontcourt.
