Gary Harris
Gary Harris is in the final year of a four-year deal that he signed with the Denver Nuggets in 2017 as his rookie extension. Denver looked to have gotten a steal, as Harris averaged a career-high 17.5 points per game that following season.
His shooting stroke abandoned him after that, as he didn’t make more than 34 percent of his attempts in three straight seasons. However, during the 2021-22 campaign, he has gotten back on track.
Harris is knocking down 38 percent of his 3-point attempts this season and once again looks like the 3-and-D ace that he did with Denver. After not finding a trade partner for him ahead of the deadline, the Magic could look to buy him out sooner than later.
If that occurs, he will be the No. 1 wing option on the market. Contending teams will flock to him as you can never have enough 3-and-D players on your roster.

The one team to keep an eye on in this scenario is the Chicago Bulls. They have been hit hard in the backcourt by injuries with Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso sidelined. However, if they lose Zach LaVine, they don’t have established wings to take over those minutes.
Chicago, who needed depth anyway, would be an excellent landing spot for Harris should he be bought out.
