Kent Bazemore
Kent Bazemore turned down more money from the Golden State Warriors in free agency in 2021 to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers. He began the season as the team’s starting shooting guard but has not been a part of the rotation much in recent weeks.
As a result, the team looked to trade him ahead of the deadline. Unable to find a team to take him, the Lakers could look to buy him out of his contract. He is on a veteran’s minimum deal, so it likely won’t be difficult negotiations.
Bazemore may not have succeeded with the Lakers, but he has a pretty long track record as a solid 3-and-D wing player. Plenty of teams would like to add him to the mix, as he knocked down 40 percent of his 3-point attempts last season.
A young team looking to make a playoff push for the first time could benefit from the experience that he brings along. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Memphis Grizzlies would both be excellent landing spots from that perspective. Another team that could look to add veteran depth is the New Orleans Pelicans.

Ultimately, the Timberwolves will be where he lands, as he could carve out a small role off the bench alongside Malik Beasley on the wing.
