Brooklyn Nets Receive: G Ben Simmons, G Seth Curry, 2022 first-round pick
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G James Harden

It feels like it will never end… Can someone please trade for Ben Simmons already? It’s been many months now and Ben Simmons is still a member of the Philadelphia 76ers with the potential of many more months taking place where that’s still the case.

No, the Sixers should not be putting in Tyrese Maxey or Matisse Thybulle in a trade for a player they feel confident they are going to receive in the offseason. The Nets need to accept this and keep it moving.

Landing a multi-time All-Star that can bring a real boost to the frontcourt in Ben Simmons along with a sharpshooter and a 2022 first-round pick is a solid haul for Harden, who hasn’t lived up to expectations in Brooklyn anyway.

The idea of Harden and Joel Embiid playing alongside each other would be a risk, but the upside is tremendous if everyone is on the same page. It would be fascinating to see that develop.
