Chicago Bulls Receive: F Jerami Grant
Detroit Pistons Receive: F Patrick Williams, F Derrick Jones Jr.
There was a lot of build up surrounding Jerami Grant as a name to watch in NBA trade rumors leading up to the deadline, but so far, there hasn’t been a lot going on in that front.
He played a pivotal role recently for a Denver Nuggets team that made it to the Western Conference Finals. Now, imagine, if he’s content with it, filling a lineup (when healthy) with Lonzo Ball, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Jerami Grant, and Nikola Vucevic?
The Bulls have pulled off an impressive season to date but they still need a power wing like Grant that can better their capabilities to handle superstars like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant.
Thaddeus Young was meant to fill that role but he had to be moved to get the DeMar DeRozan sign-and-trade completed. Grant, on the other hand, has far greater scoring ability and would bring intriguing layers to the half-court offense and could step up when injuries occur.

The Detroit Pistons landing an intriguing frontcourt player to pair long-term with Cade Cunningham would be a genuinely intriguing part of this deal, too.
