Miami Heat
The Miami Heat have looked like the best team in the Eastern Conference this season and it seems like they have not even been at full-strength all season!
Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro have all missed games for the Heat this season and while they have a ton of shooting talent, this team could use another frontcourt piece.
Dewayne Dedmon and Omer Yurtseven have stepped up behind Bam Adebayo and P.J. Tucker has played well, but Markieff Morris’ status moving forward is highly questionable given a neck injury he sustained early on in the year.
The Heat have expressed interest in adding another big man to their repertoire ahead of the trade deadline and given their cap situation, it will be hard for them to bring in another high contract player such as Christian Wood from the Rockets.

P.J. Washington though is only making $4.2 million this season and will make $5.8 million in the final year of his rookie deal next season.
It is likely though that Charlotte will have a high asking price for Washington, one that the Heat will not be able to meet in the next 24 hours leading up to the trade deadline.
