1. Philadelphia 76ers
There has been a ton of NBA trade rumors swirling around recently that the Philadelphia 76ers are dead set on bringing James Harden in to pair with Joel Embiid. That is who Daryl Morey wants and he is willing to wait as long as it takes, even if that means Ben Simmons sitting out the entire season and wasting a prime year of Embiid’s career.
While that is being heavily rumored, things could change between now and the offseason when Harden is set to become a free agent. The tampering that people around the league believe is occurring would also derail their plan.
If the Philadelphia 76ers are unable to land Harden, they will have to turn their attention elsewhere. Bradley Beal would be an excellent consolation prize.
Beal and Embiid would combine to be one of the most dynamic duos in the NBA. They could easily push to combine for 50+ points per game as both are gifted offensive players. Philadelphia has done a great job building up the rest of the roster as well, as they are in a position to contend right now even without Simmons.
LATEST NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Could Bradley Beal Emerge As Sixers’ Top Option In Ben Simmons Trade?
There have been a lot of NBA trade rumors about the Philadelphia 76ers willing to work out a sign-and-trade deal for Harden. If the same were to be done with Beal, they have the draft capital and young players to build a deal that would appease Washington. They could also use Simmons in those trade negotiations to retain as much of their current roster as possible.
