Houston Rockets Receive: G Talen Horton-Tucker, F Talen Horton-Tucker, C DeAndre Jordan, 2023 Second Round Pick (via CHI), 2024 Second Round Pick (via WAS or MEM)

Eric Gordon would be the name going back to the Los Angeles Lakers as the headliner of this NBA trade scenario. He is one of the veterans that has hung around in Houston but clearly does not fit into the future plan. That would not be the case with a win-now team like the Lakers.

Gordon continues to shine in a bench role for Houston. He is shooting upwards of 44% from three point range and this would give the Lakers a spark right away.

Gordon has the ability to come off the bench or could step into a starring role. This might benefit the Lakers a bit more given their need on both ends of the floor.

Wall has been thrown into NBA trade rumors involving Talen Horton-Tucker but it is unlikely that the Lakers will take on another point guard, unless they decide to deal Russell Westbrook. That is becoming more and more unlikely as time goes on which means they need to look in other directions.
