Myles Turner

The Indiana Pacers are likely going to clean house at this NBA trade deadline. They have many big names but Myles Turner is the one that has come up in rumors the most. The big man should be easy to trade given his prayer was on both ends of the floor in the Mavericks could use a true center.

Turner lead the league in blocks last season and is up there once again. He has developed into a true room protector and is continuing to improve on the offensive end.

With a player like Doncic running the show, Turner would continue to improve or offensively. He already has a 40-point performance under his belt this season. Dallas has a strong backcourt and Turner would give them the balance on both ends of the floor down low.

This is the type of move that can help the Mavericks take the next step and give them a player who can compete down low with other big man. Regular season defensive rating is one thing, but having a truly elite anchor to protect the rim would cement those results.

Turner is still a piece to build around moving forward because of his age. He would be able to remain in Dallas if they wanted and that is a winning formula for a team in the Western Conference.
