New York Knicks Receive: G De’Aaron Fox, F Maurice Harkless
Sacramento Kings Receive: G Evan Fournier, F Obi Toppin, G Immanuel Quickley, G Quentin Grimes, 2022 First-Round Pick, 2024 First-Round Pick, 2026 First-Round Pick, 2023 First-Round Pick (Swap), 2025 First-Round Pick (Swap)

This would be a big-time blockbuster trade as De’Aaron Fox would join Julius Randle and RJ Barret while the Sacramento Kings would reset their youth movement. It would definitely be a risk for the New York Knicks, but is it one they should be willing to take?

As mentioned, Fox is having a bit of a down year this season. That being said, the young point guard is still averaging 21.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists while shooting 45.8 percent from the field and 24.8 percent from behind the arc.

Evan Fournier would be included in this trade mainly just to match salaries. The young players the Kings are getting would be the main focus.

Obi Toppin is having a solid year, putting up 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds on 53.4-24.3 shooting splits. He’s had fairly limited opportunities (15.8 minutes) in New York, though.

Immanuel Quickley has played alright this year, too, but his shooting splits are down from his rookie season. He’s averaging 10.0 points while shooting 37.9 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from deep. Rookie Quentin Grimes has played well in limited minutes, too, scoring 5.9 points on 40.3 percent from deep.

This trade would be all about the youth for Sacramento, as previously mentioned. They’d be hitting the reset button a bit, while the Knicks would take a huge swing for the fences, trading in their future draft capital for a player that would form a big three in the Big Apple.
