Would this trade make sense for the Philadelphia 76ers?
This might not be the return the Philadelphia 76ers are looking for in a deal with Ben Simmons but at this point, what is? If Eric Gordon is thrown into the mix, Philadelphia should be interested. This is not to say that he should be the centerpiece of the trade but he is a strong No. 2 option.
Gordon would join the Sixers and could produce in many ways. He could step into a starting role or come off the bench, which he has been doing for the Rockets.
The main factor is his ability to shoot from deep. The Sixers added perimeter threats last season and it made all of the difference in the rotation. Gordon is among the league leaders in three-point shooting this season. He is a veteran player who would help out a team looking to win a title. He is wasting time right now in Houston.
Wall being included is a bonus. He showed last season that he has plenty left in the tank. The Sixers are in need of an elite starting point guard. Wall might not be the player he once was but he is still a strong option that knows how to play with other stars.

The Philadelphia 76ers might not have many options at this point. They do not have leverage in this situation and any return is a good one. This one from the Houston Rockets would help in many ways immediately.
