Orlando Magic Receive: G De’Aron Fox, F/C Marvin Bagley III
Sacramento Kings Receive: F/C Jonathan Isaac, G Markelle Fultz, F Chuma Okeke, 2023 First-Round Pick, 2025 First-Round Pick
This trade is extremely weird, but if it works out, it might not be too bad for either team involved. The Sacramento Kings would get a much-needed boost on the defensive end, while the Orlando Magic would add even more talent to an already elite guard rotation.
De’Aaron Fox isn’t playing as well as he did last season, but he’s still putting up solid numbers. The Kentucky product is averaging 21.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists while shooting 45.8 percent from the field and 24.8 percent from deep.
Meanwhile, neither Jonathan Isaac nor Markelle Fultz has played in a game yet this season. However, the last time Isaac played, he showed the potential to be a Defensive Player of the Year. And Fultz has played very well too when he’s been on the court.
Marvin Bagley III has slowly begun to earn more opportunities with the Kings this year after being benched to start the season. And Chuma Okeke has struggled with efficiency but has shown signs of being a solid two-way forward.
