Does this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?

Flipping Myles Turner for two young talents in James Wiseman and Moses Moody is a move that definitely makes sense for the Pacers. Wiseman was the 2nd overall pick in 2020 and Moody was the 14th overall pick this past offseason.

Both guys are young prospects in this league that will take some time to mature and grow into complete players, but James Wiseman possesses real All-Star potential at the center position and Moses Moody could turn into an elite scorer on the perimeter.

Not really utilizing Myles Turner to his full potential at this time and with him having just one more year left on his contract before becoming an unrestricted free agent, now is the time that the Pacers should look to leverage him.

They are not going to get better future value than any other team in this league than they can get in this trade with the Golden State Warriors, which is why it makes complete sense for them.

The problem though is that Golden State will not agree to this trade and they will not want to take a chance on Myles Turner, a player in which not much has been said about his foot injury. Indiana currently finds themselves in a tough spot as a franchise, which is why trading guys like Turner and LeVert are potential moves for them leading up to the trade deadline in three weeks.
