Dallas Mavericks Receive: C Myles Turner
Indiana Pacers Receive: F Dorian Finney-Smith, C Dwight Powell, G Josh Green, 2022 First-Round Pick
The Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers are a team that would match up well with each other. Each team has something that the other one is seeking, making them a good pair to work out a trade between.
For the Mavericks, they could use an upgrade at the center spot. Myles Turner would provide that as he is an excellent fit alongside Kristaps Porzingis in both ends of the court.
Heading back to Indiana is Dorian Finney-Smith, Dwight Powell and Josh Green, along with a 2022 first-round pick. Finney-Smith is someone that Pacers’ head coach Rick Carlisle is high on. He was known as Finney-Smith’s biggest advocate and could push to acquire him ahead of unrestricted free agency this summer.
Powell will provide Indiana with a steady player in the middle to help soak up Turner’s minutes. There is nothing he does spectacularly, but he is a solid player that won’t hurt you on either end of the court.

Josh Green, a first-round pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, represents the young player in need of a bigger role. Depending on how the other deals pan out that the Pacers could make, Green could step into a rotation role that is not guaranteed to him in Dallas when everyone is healthy.
