Indiana Pacers
What and who the Philadelphia 76ers are targeting for Ben Simmons remains a mystery, but the Indiana Pacers are in an intriguing situation as a franchise. Currently 15-26, the playoffs seem like a long-shot at this point for the Pacers and they could be on the verge of tearing everything down.
In December, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Pacers were on the verge of a rebuild and that they were going to be receptive to trade offers for Myles Turner, Caris LeVert and All-Star Domantas Sabonis.
Should Indiana decide to start clearing house on their roster, they will suddenly become a franchise that has a lot of cap space to operate with.
Myles Turner and Caris LeVert may not be targets of the 76ers, but Philadelphia could easily attach themselves to a trade involving them since their contracts equate to $35M this season.

That basically matches the contract of Tobias Harris ($35.9M) and would allow the 76ers to move Harris as an extension of the trade, that is assuming the Pacers would be interested in him.
Again, Tobias Harris is not an All-Star and likely never will be in his career, but he is a really strong secondary scorer and talent that can fill many different roles either on the wing or at the power-forward position.
Since joining the Philadelphia 76ers, Harris has averaged 7.1 rebounds per game, showcasing his abilities as an impactful rebounder in this league, and he has averaged 19.2 points per game.
Should Turner and LeVert be on the move, the Pacers will be looking for ways to re-tool instead of rebuild, which is why Harris could be intriguing to them. A trio of Tobias Harris, Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon definitely makes the Pacers better than they are now and once again a playoff threat in the Eastern Conference.

Harris would not solve all the problems the Indiana Pacers currently have, but he is only 29-years-old and could be a long-term building block for them at either forward position, especially with T.J. Warren set to become a free agent in the near future.
