Atlanta Looks To Move Gallinari, Bogdanovic, Reddish
Coming off their run to the Eastern Conference Finals a season ago, the Hawks are just 17-22 this season and really struggling to find their footing.
Trae Young, Clint Capela, John Collins and Kevin Huerter were all just given big-time contract extensions in the offseason equalling up to over $370M in total guaranteed money, but in doing so, the Hawks have made their options moving forward very limited.
This organization has no cap space right now and the only way for them to get better this season is by adding talent ahead of the trade deadline.
Moving contracts like Delon Wright ($8.5M) and Lou Williams ($5M) could open the door for the Hawks to add a little bit of talent on their bench, but the only way for this team to truly better themselves is to move on from Danilo Gallinari and/or Bogdan Bogdanovic since these two are making a combined $38.4M this season.

Cam Reddish is another guy being thrown onto the trade block because he is going to be extension-eligible this upcoming offseason and the Hawks cannot afford to keep him around, especially if they will be opening their checkbooks for De’Andre Hunter as well!
The Hawks are going to be making some kind of a big move in the near future and while John Collins’ name has been brought up recently due to his frustrations on the floor, it is much more likely that a trade package involving both Danilo Gallinari and Cam Reddish gets put together.
These two combine to make $25M this season, opening the door for the Hawks to bring in another high-level talent to pair with Trae Young.
John Collins, Clint Capela and Bogdan Bogdanovic can only do so much as “supporting cast” and with none of these three really being big-time scoring weapons, the Hawks really do need another All-Star next to Young if they are to be a real title contending team in a stacked Eastern Conference.

All three of Danilo Gallinari, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Cam Reddish remain on the trade block this season and it would not be shocking to see at least one of them on the move as a salary-relief move by Atlanta.
