2. Myles Turner
The Toronto Raptors could use an anchor for their defense. They have the 10th best offensive rating in the NBA at 111.3 and the 11th best net rating in the NBA at 1.1, but their defense could use some work.
Toronto is ranked 20th in defensive rating with a 110.2. They struggle at protecting the rim, as they do not have a single player on the team that averages at least one block per game. Chris Boucher is the closest with 0.9.
Given the athleticism of the roster and switch-ability, there is no reason the Raptors can’t be an excellent defensive team. Finding a player to anchor the last line of the defense would go a long way and Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers could fill the void.
Turner is the best rim protector in the NBA. He is leading the league with 2.8 blocks per game, which would be the third time in four seasons he has paced his peers. In addition to the elite defense, he also has a burgeoning offensive game, as he is in the midst of the best shooting season of his career.

It would take a little adjusting to have a true center in the starting five, as the Raptors have been doing a little smaller with Fred VanVleet, Gary Trent Jr., OG Anunoby, Scottie Barnes and Pascal Siakam, but it would be worth the adjustment.
