Los Angeles Lakers Receive: G Damian Lillard, F/C Robert Covington
Portland Trail Blazers Receive: G Russell Westbrook, F/G Talen Horton-Tucker, 2025 First-Round Pick, 2027 First-Round Pick
There is not much of a chance the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers come together on trade, but it is fun to discuss different trade scenarios. This one is a crazy one, but it would be interesting, to say the least.
The Los Angeles Lakers hit the reset button on the Russell Westbrook deal but it will cost them. They are bringing in a better-fitting player in Damian Lillard, but have to part ways with the only assets they have remaining.
The Lakers now have a new Big 3 of Lillard, Anthony Davis and LeBron James. Good luck to any team trying to stop that.
Talen Horton-Tucker just turned 21-years old. He could really spread his wings on a Portland Trail Blazers team that could be entering a rebuild post-Lillard. The two first-round picks down the road are excellent wild cards to take a chance on.

Also heading to Los Angeles is Robert Covington, someone the Trail Blazers have been open to moving. He will help shore up the frontcourt depth and his contract was needed to help match salaries in this scenario. Jusuf Nurkic can be swapped out in his place as well.
