Memphis Grizzlies Receive: F Danilo Gallinari, ATL 2025 1st Round Pick (Top-5 Protected)

Cam Reddish has been playing some great basketball as of late given all of the Atlanta Hawks players in health and safety protocols, but his long-term future in Atlanta is up-in-the-air due to their cap situation. The Hawks have over $500M committed to Trae Young, John Collins, Clint Capela, and Kevin Huerter, making things very difficult for them to keep guys like Cam Reddish and De’Andre Hunter on long-term deals.

Not to mention, the Hawks need another player on their roster who can create space for themselves and be another primary scorer next to Trae Young on the perimeter. Caris LeVert could certainly be this kind of player, even though he is not much of a three-point shooting threat.

Since the start of last season, LeVert has averaged 19.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and has shot 43.8% from the floor. His ability to get to his spots on offense and get to the rim could open up the floor greatly in Atlanta, allowing guys like Bogdanovic, Huerter, and Young to have more wide-open three-point opportunities.

Kyle Anderson is another guy that could fit right in with the Atlanta Hawks because of his two-way play on the wing. In Memphis, Anderson has built himself into a “do-it-all” guy that can fill various different roles on offense, as well as hold his own against multiple positions on defense.

The Grizzlies’ forward is in the final year of his contract, hence why Memphis could be open to trading him if they can get immediate production and value that helps them contend in the playoffs this season.

Danilo Gallinari is older, but he has always been known to be an offensive weapon. For his career, Gallinari has averaged 15.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and has shot 38.3% from three-point range, making him another offensive weapon that the Memphis Grizzlies could utilize next to Ja Morant.

Hitting the “reset” button in Indiana is something that is going to happen, it is just a matter of when this will happen. The Indiana Pacers have not been great over the years and it is looking like they are going to miss the playoffs yet again, which is why adding young talents ahead of the trade deadline could be the move that makes the most sense.

Jarrett Culver has been very underwhelming since being drafted 6th overall in 2019, but he still has the potential to be a two-way threat on the wing in this league because of his length and athleticism. Cam Reddish is definitely a player the Pacers would be interested in as a result of the immediate scoring he can provide either in the starting lineup or coming off the bench.

A lot would need to be agreed upon ahead of time in this scenario and each team could want a little bit more than what they are getting, but the idea of the Atlanta Hawks moving Reddish and a veteran like Gallinari or Bogdanovic is certainly feasible this season.
