1. Dallas Mavericks
After failing to make a substantial move in the offseason, the Dallas Mavericks need to be in the business of acquiring as many players that can actually do something after dribbling the basketball as possible.
Much of the focus has been to add ‘3-and-D’ talents around Luka Doncic and that certainly makes sense in theory. However, the particular players Dallas has added to their supporting cast are too limited in their scoring arsenal.
There are absolutely some concerns the Dallas Mavericks should ponder in regards to how Caris LeVert would fit alongside Doncic. Both players are best with the basketball in their hands in addition to LeVert being quite inconsistent game-by-game.
With LeVert signed through just the 2022-23 season to a contract that pays $17.5 million this season and $18.8 million in 2022-23, the gamble would not be a depleting one.
