The December 15 NBA deadline for recently signed players to become trade eligible is right around the corner and trade rumors are beginning to heat up around the NBA. Not only do the Portland Trail Blazers continue to be a key talking point regarding the futures of CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard, but the Indiana Pacers have now entered the conversation for being the team to watch in trade talks over the next few weeks.

On Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Pacers are heading towards a rebuild and are interested in hearing out offers for not only Caris LeVert, but Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner as well.

Beginning the season 11-16 has put the Indiana Pacers in a very tough spot as an organization, especially since the Eastern Conference is so crowded with talent this season. The margin for error for this team is very small and so far, they find themselves contending for a spot in the play-in tournament instead of the playoffs.

The Pacers definitely have their own struggles and trade rumors to deal with in the Eastern Conference, but Portland is definitely not out of the trade conversation just yet.
