Jerami Grant — Detroit Pistons
With the theme of this trade targets list being for players that will help to maximize the Jazz’s odds of winning the championship, the players have to be more dynamic than just wing defenders that are decent spot-up threats.
Jerami Grant has proven throughout his career just how effective he is as an off-ball threat serving as a complement to some of the NBA’s top players. However, he has since showed the other side of the equation as a member of the Detroit Pistons — serving as a focal point of the offense.
It has been another strong season for Grant from a statistical volume perspective — averaging 20.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. However, his efficiency has sorely struggled. It seems as though it’s coming into focus that he needs to move down a spot or two in the pecking order in an ideal situation.
Grant sought the Pistons in free agency in order to shoulder a hefty offensive load. He would not have quite the workload with the Utah Jazz as he has received from the Pistons.

There would be a lot of value in adding a wing talent like Grant with the size and speed to handle guarding any player on the perimeter. He could play an important role at the three or four spot — further unlocking the full potential of this Utah Jazz team.
