Role Player Wing Talent
On the surface, a complementary wing player is not going to be the difference between winning a championship or not. However, the Utah Jazz could use more helpful contributors that can knock down open shots and play defense would be helpful.
The Jazz already are seeking defensive wing help, based on the latest NBA trade rumors. A few options that stand out as being attainable include; Danuel House Jr., Robert Covington, Justin Holiday, Garrett Temple, and Torrey Craig to name a few.
Ideally, the Jazz could add a wing with more size like Covington to be able to fill the four spot and guard multiple positions on the perimeter. Those types of talents are not easy to come by, though.
Even a smaller wing that can switch on defense would be helpful. As long as there is improvement to one spot of the rotation, that’s progression toward the ultimate goal.

The Jazz have to decide if they are willing to make a major move at the NBA trade deadline despite their early success. It’s a risk since a shake-up isn’t guaranteed to always lead to positive results. If that’s the mindset, then a smaller move of this nature makes sense.
