Aside from perhaps the Memphis Grizzlies, it’s difficult to find a team around the NBA that is playing better basketball than the Utah Jazz as of late.
The Jazz, winners of nine of their previous 10 games, has posted an impressive 123.1 offensive rating (2nd), 107.4 defensive rating (7th), and 15.6 net rating (2nd) within this span. The only team with a superior net rating during this stretch is the Grizzlies despite not having Ja Morant in the lineup.
Rudy Gobert has continued to anchor the defense at an elite level while Donovan Mitchell has averaged 26.2 points and 5.3 assists on as close to 50-40-90 splits as it gets.
There are plenty of helpful complementary talents on the Jazz who are playing at a high-level — including Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic. However, Utah could use more firepower around their top talents.
