3. Pascal Siakam
During the offseason, there were a few reports that linked the Sacramento Kings to the Toronto Raptors, with Sacramento looking to make a splash and acquire Pascal Siakam. Siakam wasn’t someone that the Raptors were necessarily looking to trade, as they view him as part of their core.
But, that shouldn’t stop the Kings from trying. Building a package around Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley III is one thing, but putting De’Aaron Fox on the table could pique the Raptor’s interest.
Fox could form a strong backcourt duo with Fred VanVleet, who has experience playing off the ball as he spent a lot of time playing alongside Kyle Lowry. With the selection of Scottie Barnes with the fourth overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, some people thought that Siakam could eventually be on the move as they share the same position.
For the Kings, Siakam would provide them with the All-Star they are desperate to land. He has excellent versatility on both ends of the court and is someone that would help bolster their outlook in what is currently a watered-down Western Conference.

Sacramento needs some help in the frontcourt and Siakam would provide that. He would be a strong pairing alongside Richaun Holmes and help the Kings improve defensively, where they have had issues in recent seasons.
