2. Jaylen Brown
There have been some reports recently that the Boston Celtics could start entertaining the idea of breaking up their wing duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. While they are still looking for a third star to add to those two, ultimately, Boston may realize that breaking them up is best for the future of the franchise.
Brown and Tatum have some overlapping skills and haven’t consistently made the players around them better. It was something Marcus Smart called them out for earlier in the season, saying they need to pass the ball more and trust their teammates.
If the Celtics ultimately decide to move on from Brown, the Kings should get involved. The point guard position is one that Boston has been trying to address and De’Aaron Fox could be an intriguing option for them.
While Fox may not be on the level of Brown, it can be argued that he would help the team more as a lightning-quick point guard that can help get teammates involved. With a true point guard in the fold, the Celtics offense could start to take off again.

For Sacramento, Brown would fill a huge need on the wing. They do not have any building blocks there currently but would make for an intriguing young trio to go along with Tyrese Haliburton and Davion Mitchell. That group would have some huge upside defensively as they would be able to change the culture in Sacramento.
The Kings can also provide Brown the chance to spread his wings as the go-to player offensively. It is something he may ultimately be looking for as no matter what he has accomplished, he will be in Tatum’s shadow in Boston.
