Does this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?
When you look at how the Indiana Pacers roster has been constructed, they have tried to play through their stars, but unfortunately, injuries and chemistry have derailed their potential for success. The Pacers are not going anywhere this season and while Holiday has been a consistent player for them, they do not necessarily need him with Chris Duarte playing well now.
Along with having Torrey Craig, Kelan Martin and Oshae Brissett, Justin Holiday has become an expendable asset to this team, which is why they should look to trade him for value.
If they can get one or two second-round picks in addition to Kendrick Nunn for Holiday, the Pacers should be all about this trade, but just getting Nunn is not a terrible idea for them either.
T.J. McConnell is going to be out for at least the next two months due to wrist surgery and having minimal depth in their backcourt, Kendrick Nunn would get immediate playing time once he returns from his knee injury. His injury is not too concerning right now, especially since he is only a handful of weeks out from returning, but this is a risk the Pacers would be taking.

They have seen their roster decimated by injuries before, so they could be skeptical about bringing in Nunn, who is currently on the injury report. However, he is a talented 26-year-old guard that can do a lot of things offensively for this team.
Indiana just needs to add more talent to their team and they would certainly get that with Kendrick Nunn.
