Not only is Russell Westbrook an odd fit for the Los Angeles Lakers right now but the team gave up three valuable pieces for him. Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Montrezl Harrell were sent to Washington and have contributed to a strong start in D.C.

Bradley Beal did not request a trade out of town and the front office turned Westbrook into some productive players with experience. This has worked out well for Washington early on.
It is no surprise that Beal is leading the team with 22.7 points per game but Harrell is second on the team scoring 16.6 a night coming off the bench. Harrell has started just three games this season.

Both Kuzma and Caldwell-Pope have stated every game this season and are averaging double-digit points per game. The Wizards also went out and signed Spencer Dinwiddie at the top of the offense.
