2. Inserting Dennis Schroder Into Starting Five

Marcus Smart called out his teammates Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown for not passing the ball enough and for his role in the offense. It sounds as if Smart wants to initiate more of their sets to help keep the offensive flow moving.

When healthy, the Boston Celtics start Smart, Brown, Tatum, Al Horford, and Robert Williams III. That might be something that has to change if they want to start winning more games.

The two highest-scoring games of the season, albeit overtime games, were against the New York Knicks and Charlotte Hornets. Horford was not in the lineup for either of those games, so maybe Ime Udoka should consider moving him to the second unit.

If the team is looking for more of an offensive spark in the starting five, Dennis Schroder can be inserted, moving Tatum to the power forward spot. They would be a much more difficult team to defend, while Schroder would provide Tatum and Brown a third scoring option behind them to help take some of the pressure off of them.

The second unit should also improve with Horford as an anchor playing center. He, Josh Richardson, and Grant Williams are all solid defenders, but the second unit would be lacking in the scoring department.

One of the young players, whether it is Payton Pritchard, Romeo Langford or Aaron Nesmith, would ideally step up and fill that void.
