Best Destination No. 2: Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have been hit hard by the injury bug to begin the 2021-22 season. Two starters from opening night, point guard Jrue Holiday and center Brook Lopez, are both sidelined with injuries. Donte DiVincenzo, who was starting before being injured at the onset of the postseason, is still recovering as well.

The Milwaukee Bucks have a 4-4 record in the early going as a result, as they are just trying to tread water as they await multiple rotation players to return to good health. If these injuries have shown the team anything, it is that they need some help in the backcourt.

Last season the Milwaukee Bucks didn’t have much in the way of depth behind Holiday until they landed Jeff Teague on the buyout market. They added George Hill for this season, but that may not be enough to help keep things afloat.

Checking into the price for acquiring Goran Dragic would make some sense. He could help stabilize the second unit, providing the team with more experienced depth behind Holiday. Dragic would provide the team with a little more scoring punch as well compared to Hill, who is more of a spot-up shooter and solid defender.

Having the chance to compete for a title is something Dragic is looking for and there aren’t many teams with a better chance than the Milwaukee Bucks of making it to the NBA Finals. He may not receive as much playing time as he hoped, but anything is better than the zero minutes he is getting from the Toronto Raptors currently.
