3. Pascal Siakam

The Toronto Raptors have been one of the more surprising teams to start this season. They are 4-3 despite not having Pascal Siakam in the lineup for a single game. Siakam is recovering from shoulder surgery and should be returning to the lineup soon.

The Raptors didn’t have much interest in trading Siakam during the offseason, and that likely hasn’t changed this early into the season. But, seeing how well the team has played with him on the sidelines, could they consider dealing him and upgrading other parts of the roster?

The LA Clippers could certainly use someone of Siakam’s caliber on the team. He would help fill the void at power forward the team currently has with Serge Ibaka sidelined and Marcus Morris Sr. dealing with some knee maintenance.

The former All-Star would be an excellent No. 2 option behind Paul George, providing the team with another guy they can rely on every night to score the ball. Right now, the Clippers just don’t have that as they are counting on Reggie Jackson and Luke Kennard as their best options behind George.

Acquiring Siakam would certainly not be cheap, but something the front office should consider. Los Angeles is getting very little production from their frontcourt when it comes to scoring the ball and he would help change that instantly.
