1. Christian Wood
The Houston Rockets could be having a fire sale sooner than later. They are lottery-bound and have some veterans to move in Eric Gordon and Danuel House Jr. Both could be of help to the LA Clippers to upgrade their second unit, but Christian Wood is who they should be aggressively pursuing.
Wood would be a perfect fit in the frontcourt for the Clippers. He can play either power forward or center, providing the team with some much-needed versatility. The former UNLV product would be an upgrade on both sides of the ball.
Right now, the leading shot blocker on the LA Clippers is point guard Eric Bledsoe, who has five in six games. Wood is a solid rim protector that would give the team a boost as the last line of defense and anchor.
Offensively, he has proven he can be a go-to option. He has averaged 20.7 points per game in his tenure with the Rockets, shooting 50.8 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from the 3-point line. Wood is also grabbing 9.9 rebounds per game over that span.

At 26-years old, Wood not only would help the team now but could be a foundational piece for the future. LA should do whatever they can to pry him out of Houston before another team pounces. His production is excellent, but his current contract makes him that much more valuable of a player.
