1. Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors had their eyes on swinging a big trade during the offseason. They had the assets to pull one-off, armed with multiple lottery selections and some intriguing players as well.
Ultimately, no deal was reached. But, they could still make a deal during the season. If they do that, Domantas Sabonis is someone they should consider targeting.
A few rumors were linking the Warriors to the Indiana Pacers, but they were centered on Myles Turner. Turner would be a good fit in Golden State, but Sabonis could take the Warriors over the top.
He would provide Golden State with another legitimate go-to option offensively to help take pressure off of Stephen Curry until Klay Thompson is ready to go. The Warriors currently don’t have a consistent scoring threat they can throw the ball to in half-court sets that can get a basket. Sabonis would assuredly change that.

With the presence of Draymond Green, integrating Sabonis into the team’s defensive schemes would be easy as well. Depending on the situation, Sabonis can handle center or power forward duties depending on how Green is being used.
At only 25-years old, Domantas Sabonis can help keep the championship window open for the current Golden State Warriors core, while being the centerpiece of their next one in the future.
