Would this trade make sense for the Los Angeles Lakers?

The Los Angeles Lakers have plenty of star power. It is no question that they have one of the best trips in the league and this will carry them if healthy. Los Angeles is one of the best franchises in the league and that can continue if they win some more titles.

To do so, the Lakers have been interested in depth. This is what Dort could bring. He has been inconsistent during his time in the league. He has built a reputation as a strong defender but has been unable to find that consistent jump shot on the offensive end of the floor.

There are few better teams to go and learn than the Lakers. They have a bunch of leaders, both on the floor and on the coaching staff. This would give the Lakers an intriguing prospect to keep an eye on over the years.

This is something that can intrigue the Lakers. They could keep the assets gained here or decide to flip them in another deal. Either way, Los Angeles has a plan and this could be a small piece of it.
