Dwane Casey, Detroit Pistons
Dwane Casey is a former NBA Coach of the Year but has not played the part with the Detroit Pistons. The front office has not been able to build a winner and that is what they are looking to do with their young core. Cade Cunningham leads the way for a team that is built for the future.
With that being said, Casey might not be the coach. The Pistons are not expected to win this season but it is all about player development. Cunningham joins the likes of Saddiq Bey, Isaiah Stewart, and Killian Hayes.
While the Detroit Pistons might not be a playoff team, they need to show signs of improvement. If the team tanks once again and does not look promising moving forward, Casey could be in a bit of trouble.
It is clear that they do not have the star power yet to contend but the front office needs to see signs of improvement.

Casey is 81-139 in three years with the Pistons. He was brought in after a successful tenure in Toronto. It is clear that Casey is a good head coach but there are times when the fit is not a good one. It has yet to be seen if Casey is the long-term coach for the Detroit Pistons.
