The Chicago Bulls started their retooling process at the NBA Trade Deadline when they shockingly landed Nikola Vucevic from the Orlando Magic. Having two All-Star cornerstones in Vucevic and Zach LaVine now in the mix, they became one of the most aggressive teams in the league during the offseason.
Lonzo Ball was acquired in a sign-and-trade with the New Orleans Pelicans. Alex Caruso was signed away from the Los Angeles Lakers. DeMar DeRozan came over to Chicago from the San Antonio Spurs in another sign-and-trade deal. Lauri Markkanen was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a sign-and-trade deal that also involved the Portland Trail Blazers. Now, Zach LaVine has some help.
All in all, the Bulls made some major changes to their roster. They are looking to crash the Eastern Conference playoff picture this season and make some noise. But, the Zach LaVine extension is looming over this team.
