3. Langston Galloway
The Phoenix Suns had some excellent depth in their backcourt during their run to the NBA Finals. When Chris Paul was battling a nagging injury, they were comfortable knowing they could turn to Cameron Payne, E’Twaun Moore, and Langston Galloway. This season, however, that depth won’t be there.
Moore signed with the Orlando Magic, but Galloway remains a free agent. Galloway was looking for a chance to play some minutes with a new team, but that opportunity has yet to present itself.
Galloway played sparingly for the Suns last season, appearing in 40 games and averaging 11 minutes per game. He was one season removed from averaging 10.3 points off the bench for the Detroit Pistons with 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 25.8 minutes per game.
The St. Joseph’s product has shown that he can provide a spark for a team when given a chance. He is a combo guard that can initiate the offense but is best when looking to score the ball. He is a 37 percent career shooter from the 3-point line, so he can provide some spacing for teams as well.

There are plenty of teams that could use some veteran depth in their backcourt and it would not be surprising to see Galloway picked up at some point in training camp.
