Terrence Ross – Orlando Magic
One veteran player who has flown under the radar over the years is Terrence Ross. Since Ross has been in Orlando and the team has not seen much success over the years, the veteran wing has not received much attention, but at the same time, this is a guy who was in the running for Sixth-Man of the Year last season before getting hurt.
With Kawhi Leonard out to begin the season as he recovers from offseason ACL surgery, the LA Clippers will need guys to step up on their roster, but their options are limited right now, especially on the wing. Paul George and Reggie Jackson should be consistent scorers, but Marcus Morris, Nicolas Batum, Eric Bledsoe, Terance Mann, and Ivica Zubac can all be streaky offensive players.
The LA Clippers could really benefit from adding another “go-to” scorer on their bench, which is why they could acquire Terrence Ross in a trade with the Magic. Ross is only owed $12.5M this season and then $11.5M next season, making his contract reasonable given his production.
Seeing as they are rebuilding, the Magic should definitely be interested in trading Terrence Ross for future assets, so if the LA Clippers want him, they can probably trade for him and his $12.5M contract, but what assets they would give up is a question mark.

The LA Clippers do not have a first-round pick until 2028, and the only young talents they really have are Luke Kennard, Ivica Zubac, and their rookies, so the Magic may not really be interested in what Los Angeles has to offer.
Overall though, Terrence Ross would be a really strong target for the LA Clippers to bolster their rotation if they can make a trade for him work, especially without Kawhi to begin the year.
