They Have Options To Keep Him At Power Forward

Since he entered the NBA, there has always been a debate about which position Kristaps Porzings would be better suited to play between center and power forward. While there are some advantages to him playing the center position, it is not something he has ever fully bought into.

Porzingis has spent a fair amount of time at power forward with the Dallas Mavericks and It is where he seems comfortable. Luckily for the Golden State Warriors, they would be able to play him there exclusively if need be.

The Warriors have the luxury of using Draymond Green at basically any position defensively. He can defend all five positions and is the perfect complement to Porzingis on defense.

Being the Swiss Army Knife that he is, Green can take the tougher frontcourt assignment each night, which he has already been doing throughout his career.

In addition to Green, the Warriors also have James Wiseman. If he is held onto, he can play the center position alongside Porzingis at the power forward spot. Kevon Looney is another capable center.

Having three players that can handle the minutes in the middle, enabling Porzingis to play power forward as much as possible, should yield positive results.
