Paul Millsap
Veteran Paul Millsap is one of the best unrestricted free agents remaining on the market. He has spent the last four seasons with the Denver Nuggets and has seen his playing time go down each season.
At 36-years old, Millsap is coming to the end of his career. He likely can’t handle full starter’s minutes anymore, but he has shown that he can still produce at a solid clip. His per-36 minute numbers from the 2020-21 season are pretty comparable to his entire career and tenure with the Nuggets.
Millsap brings a lot to the table that contending teams are looking for. He is a steady veteran that can knock down a 3-pointer and provide some defense in the frontcourt. Paul Millsap can still get it done on that end of the court with his ability to defend multiple positions.
Plenty of contenders have been linked to Millsap this offseason. The usual suspects, such as the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets have been mentioned. His old team, the Atlanta Hawks, has also been linked to him.

Paul Millsap will land with the Nets when it is all said and done. They have a need in the frontcourt and can offer him the best combination of playing time and a chance to win a championship. It is something he won’t be able to turn down, even if he was hoping to land a contract bigger than a veteran’s minimum.
