2. Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings are looking to change the culture of their team. After back-to-back 31-41 seasons, something has to change this season otherwise there will be wholesale changes throughout the organization.
Head coach Luke Walton is certainly on the hot seat this season. His team had the worst defensive rating in NBA history last season and he has to figure out a way to turn that around.
Selecting Davion Mitchell with their first-round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft will help do that. But, they will need to do more to turn things around than one rookie. Acquiring Cam Reddish would help them on multiple fronts.
For starters, the Kings are lacking true wing options. De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield are all backcourt players. Richaun Holmes and Harrison Barnes are handling the frontcourt. Adding Reddish would give the Kings a young wing player to add to their core.

Standing 6’8” with a 7’1” wingspan, Reddish has the size, length and athleticism to become an excellent defender. That would help the Kings immensely having a wing they can combine with Mitchell to slow down opposing offenses on the perimeter.
For a Kings team desperate to end a playoff drought, they may be willing to surrender the future first-round pick it would take to land Reddish.
