The Atlanta Hawks made a surprising run to the Eastern Conference Finals this NBA season. They were eliminated in six games by the Milwaukee Bucks, but they showed that they have a roster poised to become contenders soon.

To reach that potential, they will have to make some difficult roster decisions. Some of their young players will not be retained down the road. Trae Young and John Collins were identified as two core keepers, as both signed lucrative contracts this offseason.

With the Hawks handing out big deals to them, teams are beginning to take notice of their salary situation. Around the league, front offices are seeing if Atlanta will need to move off of some players to alleviate some of their salary cap concerns. One of the players that have popped up in rumors is Cam Reddish.

Reddish was selected 10th overall by the Hawks in the 2019 NBA Draft. His name popped up in rumors immediately after Atlanta was eliminated from the postseason and it continued throughout the 2021 NBA Draft.

Things quieted down, but once it was announced that Reddish wouldn’t be participating in Summer League, rumors picked up again. Most recently, it was reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers had been in contract with the Hawks.

The former Blue Devil has struggled to stay healthy, and when he has played the production hasn’t been great. But, his four-game stint at the end of the playoffs showed the potential that he has.

Which teams could be interested in Reddish? Here are three teams who should be keeping tabs on a potential trade for him.
