Would this trade make sense for the Los Angeles Clippers?

When the Los Angeles Clippers brought Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to town, they immediately became a team to beat in the Western Conference. So far, they have been eliminated both years and that is what they are trying to avoid once again.

This is not to say that Mo Bamba is the missing piece for the Clippers to win a championship but he would bring depth down low and potentially be an explosive player, if he is able to develop in the right way.

Bamba entered the league with great expectations as a lottery pick of the Magic. He struggled with injuries early on and this never allowed him to completely get into a groove. That could change if he is able to stay healthy and play for one of the top teams in the league.

There will not be much pressure for Bamba in Los Angeles and he could develop at his own pace. He came into the league with promise as a shooter and defender. This is something that can grow during his time with the Clippers.

It is always different when a player goes to a team that is expected to compete. Bamba would have a chance to get out of Orlando and hopefully find his way in a new system. If he turned into the player people expected, this is a great benefit for the Clippers.
