Would this trade make sense for the Orlando Magic?
If Mo Bamba ever went to the Los Angeles Clippers and turned into a consistent producer, Orlando can not feel bad about it. They gave him plenty of time but he was unable to consistently remain on the floor.
On paper, this deal makes a lot of sense for the Magic because of what they will be getting back compared to what they are giving up.
Terrence Ross is a talented scorer off the bench but he is not a long-term piece for Orlando. A veteran guard like Ross does not do much good for a team like the Magic that is going to take years to compete.
Kennard is the younger option that could help the back corner of the Magic. They are already strong with the likes of Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs leading the way. Zubac would be a replacement big man down low and add some experience in the frontcourt and Keon Johnson is another prospect to add into the mix.

Bamba was never able to get his legs under him in Orlando and a change of scenery could be good for both sides. That is what would be happening here for the Magic, should they take advantage of any return they are able to get.
