Los Angeles Clippers: C Mo Bamba, G Terrence Ross
Orlando Magic Receive: G Luke Kennard, C Ivica Zubac, G Keon Johnson, 2022 Second Round Pick

The Orlando Magic seem to have two players that are in relatively similar situations in Jonathan Isaac and Mo Bamba. They have been injury-plagued players that have been unable to make an impact in Orlando.

Of course, Isaac has contributed quite a bit more in his young NBA career as Bamba has struggled to earn playing time behind Nikola Vucevic. There have been flashes from Bamba during his time on the floor but he hasn’t put it together consistently.

In this deal, the Magic would be able to send one away with Bamba going to Los Angeles. He is entering the final-year of his current contract and now would be the time to move on if the Magic truly intend to sever ties after this season.

The Clippers would also get Terrance Ross in this deal who can give them valuable minutes off the bench. In return, Luke Kennard and Ivica Zubac would be the players going back to the Magic. They will also get Keon Johnson and a second-round draft pick next year.

Adding more shooting around Jalen Suggs could help the Magic to begin that era off in the right way. Terrence Ross has been quite impactful but he’s now 30-years-old and isn’t quite on the same timeline as the team’s younger players.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this NBA trade scenario centered around Mo Bamba would impact both the Los Angeles Clippers and Orlando Magic.
