Championship Experience Added In Offseason

The 2021 NBA Finals were a bit of an aberration when it came to championship experience. Jae Crowder was the only player between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks that had appeared in an NBA Finals previously.

Normally, championship experience is a deciding factor in a series. The Miami Heat front office did an excellent job this offseason adding some more veterans to the mix to help get them over the hump.

Kyle Lowry, P.J. Tucker and Markieff Morris all have championship experience. Lowry won with the Toronto Raptors in 2019, Morris won in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers and Tucker won the most recent title with the Bucks.

Add that to the group of players that Miami has with NBA Finals experience already, and they are as ready as virtually any team when it comes to postseason basketball.
