Would this trade make sense for the Golden State Warriors?

The Golden State Warriors have won championships using the three-point line. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson make up an elite duo of shooters that will go down in history. That is not going to change anytime soon as the Warriors will continue to sport a fast-paced offense with plenty of shots getting up. This is the reason that Andrew Wiggins’ fit was a strange one but he was able to hold his own.

Wiggins played in 71 games this season and scored 18.6 points per game while shooting 38% from three-point range. He did his best to fit into the system and even improved a bit as a shooter because of it.

At the end of the day, he excels in the midrange and in the lane. Wiggins seems to be in rumors a lot because of his value. The Warriors could be trying to move him and Fournier is a better fit in the system. He is used to a fast-paced style and can be relied on more as a shooter.

Fournier could benefit the Warriors in the starting lineup at the three or off the bench. He is a versatile player that can get it done on both ends of the floor.

It just seems like a matter of time before Wiggins is sent away. If the Knicks are the interested team, the Warriors could have a demand that would leave some scratching their heads but it would help both sides.
