Would this trade make sense for the Cleveland Cavaliers?

The Cleveland Cavaliers are building something but they need some more pieces in some way. They are missing that veteran piece that can be a leader when it matters most. Cam Reddish is not that player but he fits the mold of a young and up-and-coming player that can produce right away.

Reddish would get an extended role in Cleveland. There might be more opportunity there than there is with the Hawks right now. This is what he could use.

Coming out of Duke, Reddish was highly-touted as one of the best shooters in the draft and we have seen that at times. On a rebuilding team, Reddish would be able to show off more of his skillset with less pressure.

The Cavaliers could be looking for bigger fish in a trade but this is one that could be on their radar as well because of the value. It is not an expensive deal and it is one where they could end up stealing a future star.

It is unknown what Reddish will turn into but that is the risk that Cleveland would be taking. At the end of the day, it is a low one with a chance of a big reward. This should be good enough for the front office to take a chance.
