The Los Angeles Clippers could use some depth in their frontcourt. DeMarcus Cousins and Patrick Patterson are both on the free-agent market still, leaving Los Angeles with very few options in their frontcourt. The center spot, specifically, needs some depth.

Right now, Ivica Zubac is the only player listed as a center on the roster. Serge Ibaka is capable of playing some minutes there, but they need to add at least one more big man to the roster. Someone such as Mo Bamba would make for an intriguing target.

Mo Bamba was stuck behind Nikola Vucevic to begin his NBA career.

When Vucevic was traded to the Chicago Bulls, there was hope Bamba would be unleashed. Instead, he faced new competition from Wendell Carter Jr.

Mo Bamba would provide the Clippers with an added dimension to their team, as he has shown the ability to space the floor a little bit. He has made 32.5 percent of his 3-point attempts in his career and should only get better with more reps.

The former Texas product is also an excellent rebounder and rim protector, providing Los Angeles with an interior presence defensively that they could use more of. There’s a lot of potential that Mo Bamba could tap into going forward.
